Internship Program

Opportunities for College Students

Our intern program consists of college students attending Criminal Justice classes and being interested in law enforcement as a career. Interns are assigned to both Sworn and Civilian Management Staff and work closely with all units within the Police Department. Successful interns who display a good work ethic, character, and integrity will have the opportunity to grow into a part of our Department's Succession Plan, as they may have opportunities to join our department in a paid part-time or full-time job assignment. All interns must pass a thorough background check to ensure quality volunteerism.
