Successor Agency
On January 12, 2012, the Citrus Heights City Council assumed the responsibilities of the Redevelopment and Housing Successor Agencies for the former Community Redevelopment Agency. As of February 1, 2012, the successor agency became responsible for winding down the former agency's affairs and managing former agency housing assets. The redevelopment successor agency dissolved on March 1, 2017 after all obligations had been paid and all remaining assets had been disposed of. The Housing Successor Agency is still in existence and maintains control of the former agency's housing assets.
