Project Schedule (Phase 1 Only)

Phase 1 of the Complete Streets Project will transform Old Auburn Road from Tiara Way to Garry Oak Drive.

The City has contracted with GHD, Inc for the environmental documentation and final design of Phase 1.

• Outreach event at the Citrus Heights Public Works Showcase at Van Maren Park on May 18, 2023 .
• Outreach event at CHASEN Neighborhood Meeting July 18, 2023 at 7pm.
• Outreach event at City Scoop - Sylvan Community Center August 16, 2023.
• Outreach event at Sunrise Ranch (Area 6) community meeting on October 24, 2023.
• Public Workshop at Sunrise Tech Center on February 1, 2024.

Environmental Documents and Studies are being prepared by the City and Consultants. These documents are anticipated to be completed by February 2024.

City Council adopted the Old Auburn Road Complete Streets Plan in 2019. This plan included an extensive Public Outreach and Workshops with community members and stakeholders.
